Fall in New England

It has been a strikingly beautiful fall here in Massachusetts. We've had gorgeous weather, radiant foliage, and fallen leaves in quantities that these former city slickers can't remember ever seeing. Louise loves playing "needle in the leaf stack" and "it's raining leaves" whenever she plays in the yard.

MoMA
There's been a lot of slacking off with the blog lately. So sorry. Of course I have tons of predictable excuses: frequent travel, a couple of broken cameras, a looming move... Until I get my act together here are a few iphone pics of Weeze at MoMA last week.

Louise wishes for peace and ice cream, in that order.

Beware of Fascist Feminists, especially if they're only 2 ft tall.

Just another day at the playground.
Girl meets ball in front of dreamy chalk drawn wall. The wind blows
through Girl's hair as she runs freely around the yard holding the
ball. She is joyous. Moments later the owner of the ball (Boy)
snatches the ball back and heartlessly pushes Girl down.

Stuck Indoors on a Hot Day Activity # 327
Thanks to Lila and Auntie Em for this fun idea. Unfortunately our
natural dish soap didn't create the sudsy bubble excitement I had
promised.
