Hanging with Bunny and Elyse's Baby Shower

Louise and I went to Elyse's baby shower on Saturday. There were lots of happy ladies cooing over little Lou and her best buddy Cairo. You can see C and L hanging out on the bed after their naps (a picture I lifted off Cairo's blog). CUTE!

Congrats to Elyse who's expecting another girlfriend for these two in late August.

Our Little Munchster

Kid Stedman is cutting her teeth or should I say gums on any object she can get her hands on. These pictures were taken in about a half hour and as you can see, a book, the arm of her play gym and a binky all met a similar slobbery doom. We should note that Lou hates sucking on pacifiers and can spit one clear across the room- but repurposed as a chew toy and she happily gnashes and chomps away.

Escape! From the Play Mat!

This little lass has legs. She may not be able to crawl or sit up yet but she can certainly slip and slither her way off a play mat in a minute flat. This is a new and terrifying development. She got this far in the time it took me to get a glass of water and take my shoes off. Don't worry, I had an eye on her the whole time. Clearly we need a rug and possibly a fence to keep "Grease Lightning" in this zip code.

Getting ready for Northside

Have you heard? There's a radical festival in Brooklyn this weekend sponsored by the L Magazine. Better get ready to enjoy the outdoor concerts with my new magic sound eliminators!

Adina Pearl

We finished off our 10 day stay in Boston with Louise's naming ceremony. She was given the Hebrew name Adina Pearl in honor of her two great grandmothers Adelaide and Pauline. It was a beautiful and meaningful welcoming of our little girl performed by Rabbi Lev, the same rabbi who married us.

POOL PARTY!

Wellesley, Winchester, Winnepesake

Lou and I are deep into our week's stay in New England. We went to Wellesley for Danny's birthday and Uncle John's Memorial golf tournament (you can see cousin Eric with Lou's pal Juliet) and have stayed on through for a trip to the New Hampshire lake house with Emily, Lila and Grandma.

Here you can see Louise experiencing her first boat ride complete with a delicious baby-sized life jacket.
